CAN I PURCHASE MY OWN MATERIALS? 

If you would like to source and purchase your materials directly this is fine, note we do not provide any guarantees on these materials purchased. On arrival, the fitter will check the materials are in order, if any issues are found, it is the customer’s responsibility to contact the supplier. If materials are delayed and the job cannot commence on the agreed start date, a new start date will be arranged.

 

WHAT IS THE WAITING TIME FOR FITTINGS? 

This can vary depending on the size of the job and your flexibility (weekdays vs weekends), but we are usually booked a month in advance. However, we sometimes have cancellations or re-arrangements so always contact us and we can discuss the urgency of the work.

 

HOW DO I MAKE PAYMENT? 

Payment is usually requested once work is complete, however on occasions whereby the job spans over a long-period of time or significant expenditure on materials is required upfront, a deposit or regular installments will be requested. This will of course be agreed before the work begins.

If payment on completion is to be made, an invoice will be shared including payment instructions. Payment is requested to be made within 3 working days after completion of work. Work is non-refundable.

 

IF I CANCEL A JOB DO I NEED TO PAY FOR ANY MATERIALS PURCHASED?

Yes, all materials purchased by Teak Interiors as agreed with the customer, will need to be paid for regardless if the job is cancelled by the customer. We are an independent business and incurring costs for unused materials is not sustainable for us.


WHAT HAPPENS WITH FAULTY ITEMS AND CRAFTSMANSHIP? 

Occurrences like this are rare but can sometimes happen. Once informed, we will work with you to ensure issues whereby we are at fault are rectified. We take the satisfaction of our customers seriously. If you feel that you have not been provided with the service agreed, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve the matter.
